The KSeF is a national system for issuing, receiving and storing structured invoices. The KSeF can be used by both natural persons and entities other than natural persons. To use the KSeF, it is necessary to authenticate the taxpayer in the system.
Can an entity that is not a natural person authenticate itself in the KSeF with a qualified seal?
Using our Certum qualified seal, you will be able to use the KSeF. You can also use the seal to sign invoices, just like many other company documents. In the case of entities who are not natural persons who have an electronic qualified seal containing NIP, it is possible to use the KSeF based on primary ownership rights without reporting to the tax office.
A qualified electronic seal is the equivalent of a company seal. It allows you to sign company documents, while maintaining legal force. What distinguishes a qualified seal from a qualified signature? A qualified electronic seal can be used by entities that have legal personality according to the law, e.g. companies, public administration entities, non-governmental organizations, sole proprietors. In turn, the electronic signature contains the data of a specific person.
The data contained in the qualified seal for a legal person are related to its company:
CN (Common Name) - the common name of the legal entity
O (Organization Name) - the exact and official name of the entity
C (Country) - two-digit country code according to the official standard
OI (Organization Identifier) - e.g. tax identification number (NIP in Poland), registration numbers (KRS in Poland), regional identifier according to the ETSI standard in the EU
Address of the registered entity
How to get a qualified seal?
To obtain a qualified seal, you must be a legal entity. After making the purchase, the person authorized to represent the company fills in the application for the issuance of an electronic qualified seal. The application should be signed with a qualified electronic signature.
